Woodbine Manor is run by our super efficient, wonderfully compassionate Care Manager,Nicole Kelly, who has joined Woodbine Manor to lead it in its quest for excellence in all areas. Nicole has over ten years’ experience in the role of registered manager. She has an NVQ5 in Management and is trained in many areas including Health & Social Care, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberties.
Our outstanding care team are also dedicated and highly qualified; most have completed NVQ levels 2 or 3. Woodbine Manor is very much like a family, most of our team have been working here for many years and know each resident very well. We insist on a high standard of care, so our employees are carefully selected, full induction training is provided and continuing professional development is undertaken by each member of staff.
We select our staff for their integrity, friendliness, skill and professionalism but they also need to share our values of love, compassion and respect for people as individuals. To maintain our very high standards of care we take great time and effort to select just the right staff. To ensure that we have a great team, our philosophy is ‘employ caring people – rather than – employing people to care’ Our approach focuses on spiritual as well as physical well-being and we arrange Nicole Kelly has a wealth of knowledge & experience in caring for the elderly. All the staff are here for your comfort, care and convenience and receive continuing QCF training (formerly NVQ) to ensure that we can handle any situation; more than that, however, they will become your friends and companions.
