π What a Fun Month August Has Been! π
August has certainly been a month filled with sunshine, laughter, music, outings and lots of wonderful memories here at Woodbine Manor! βοΈβ€οΈ One of our biggest highlights has to be our sunny trip to Littlehampton seafront! πβοΈ We were incredibly lucky with the weather and enjoyed a beautiful day by the coast. Our residents loved taking in the lovely seaside views, watching the world go by and enjoying the fresh sea air. There was plenty of chatting and laughter as we made the most of our day away from the home.
Of course, no seaside trip would be complete without some delicious treats! π¦π° We enjoyed ice creams, cappuccinos and cakes, which went down extremely well! There were lots of happy faces as everyone enjoyed their well-deserved treats. A huge thank you also goes to Mobility and Comfort for kindly lending us some wheelchairs, which helped make the trip more comfortable and accessible for everyone who joined us. π
Back at Woodbine Manor, we have also been lucky enough to enjoy some fantastic entertainment throughout the month. πΆ We were wonderfully entertained by Mark, Shay and Jamie, who each brought their own unique style and talent to Woodbine Manor. From fabulous music and familiar favourites to songs that brought back special memories, each performance gave our residents the opportunity to sing along, tap their feet and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun! π€π΅
Most importantly, all three entertainers brought so much joy, laughter and happiness to our residents. Seeing people smiling, singing along and reminiscing together is what makes these afternoons so special. β€οΈ
